ENTRY I · OVERVIEW

Six Reasons Families Choose Rumahwise

Malaysian Administrative Context

Content is built around publicly available Malaysian government schedules and renewal timelines — not imported frameworks that require translation back to local practice.

Printed Materials You Keep

Every programme includes physical workbooks, calendars, and checklists. They go home with participants and remain useful long after the sessions end — no login required.

A Clear, Printed Scope

A boundary entry in every programme spells out what Rumahwise covers and who we redirect to. You will never wonder whether you have received advice you cannot act on.

Small Groups, Unhurried Pace

Sessions run with a maximum of ten to twelve participants. That size allows questions to be raised and answered within the session itself, rather than deferred to a follow-up email.

Content Kept Current

Checklists and renewal calendars are reviewed when relevant Malaysian administrative schedules change. Participants work from the most recent publicly available information.

Referral Sheet in Every Programme

Each programme closes with a referral sheet pointing participants to appropriately qualified legal, financial, and wellbeing professionals for questions the programme does not address.

ENTRY II · IN DEPTH

What Each Benefit Means in Practice

Expertise in Organisational Education

The Rumahwise team brings backgrounds in organisational communication, adult education, and HR process design. That combination matters because household records work sits at the intersection of all three: it involves explaining administrative concepts to non-specialists, helping people build habits that persist, and designing processes that can be handed to someone else.

Programmes are written by people who have worked through the material themselves and understand where the practical difficulties arise — not just where the theory says they should.

A Repeatable, Teachable Process

Rumahwise programmes do not rely on a participant having a particular type of household or a particular level of existing organisation. The process is designed to be usable from scratch: you list what you have, map it to a calendar, separate your originals from copies, and write a handover note anyone can follow.

That structure is the same whether you are setting up for the first time or auditing a system that has grown messy over years. It is repeatable each administrative year and transferable to whoever takes over the paperwork next.

A Considered Approach to Participants

Many people who attend Rumahwise programmes are navigating a period of change — a relative's illness, a new caring responsibility, or an administrative situation that has become unmanageable. The sessions are designed to be manageable in that context: no prior knowledge required, no pressure to complete tasks in-session, and a pace that allows questions.

Facilitators are trained to distinguish between organisational questions (which the programme addresses) and questions about rights, obligations, or wellbeing (which are redirected to qualified professionals).

Transparent, Fixed Fees

Programme fees are published in full: RM 540 for the Administrative Year Planning Session, RM 2,150 for the Guardianship and Care Records Course, and RM 4,320 for the Corporate Family Transition engagement. There are no add-on fees for printed materials, which are included in each programme.

For the corporate engagement, the scope and fee structure are confirmed in writing before work begins. There are no variable charges based on organisation size unless agreed in the engagement letter.

ENTRY IV · WHAT SETS US APART

Distinctive Features

USP 01

The Administrative Calendar

Each Administrative Year Planning Session produces a household-specific wall calendar showing when documents are typically renewed, reissued, or reviewed. This is drawn from publicly published Malaysian schedules and personalised to what the household actually holds. It is a working document, not a decorative one.

USP 02

The Handover File

The Guardianship and Care Records Course produces a written handover file that any adult stepping into a care role can follow without asking questions. That file is reviewed in the closing session of the course — not left as homework — so participants leave with something that is already usable.

USP 03

Bilingual Policy Writing

The Corporate Family Transition engagement produces a rewritten internal policy in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. This is reviewed by the client's own qualified professionals before it is finalised. Rumahwise writes the plain-language draft; the client's professionals confirm legal and regulatory accuracy.

USP 04

Marginalia and Source Notes

Printed workbooks include marginal notes explaining each administrative term at first use and citing the public source it is drawn from. Participants can verify information independently — and often do. That transparency is part of what makes the materials trustworthy.
